Mobitel, the National mobile service provider as well as Sri Lanka’s premier connectivity provider, unveiled the first 5G Mobile Technology site in the South Asia region at its store at One Galle Face Mall. It is a part of their investment of over US$ 100 million for broadband expansion and a part of their plans to provide continuous digital technology throughout the island. This is their commitment to leads Sri Lanka towards an info com and knowledge rich society. Mobitel was also the first company in South Asia’s to conduct 5G technology trial.
