The Ambassador of Sri Lanka in Jakarta, H.E. Admiral Prof. Jayanath Colombage attended a cultural festival organized by the International Relations students of Pertamina University, Jakarta Indonesia on 26th June 2026.
The embassy facilitated a group of students to exhibit the culture of Sri Lankan at the festival providing Traditional Dress, Sri Lankan National Flag and other souvenirs items. The Rector of Pertamina University, Prof. Wawan Gunawan warmly welcomed the Ambassador and extended his sincere thanks for the assistance rendered by the Embassy in organizing the event.
Admiral Prof. Jayanath Colombage addressed the gathering highlighting the long standing social and cultural and economic relations between two countries. Ambassador discussed with the University authorities about possible cooperation between Pertamina University and Sri Lanka in the field of education.
During the discussion with the Rector and the academic staff of the Pertamina University, the Ambassador highlighted the opportunities for collaboration in the educational sector for both countries
