Mr. Sugiyanto, Director of Yogyakarta ATK Polytechnic, and his team engaged in fruitful discussions with the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Jakarta on 20th November 2023, aiming to foster collaboration in the leather industry. The meeting, attended virtually by the Export Development Board (EDB) and the Sri Lanka Footwear and Leather Product Manufacturers Association (SLFLPMA), explored potential partnerships to enhance technical capabilities and promote mutual benefits.
Yogyakarta ATK Polytechnic is a Vocational College within the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia. It has 3 departments which offer Diplomas in Leather Processing technology, Leather Product Processing technology, Rubber and Plastics Processing technology.
This collaborative initiative will foster growth in the leather sector.
