Sri Lanka will host two major conference in higher education system. Sri Lanka’s University Grant Commission will he hosted the Biennial Conference of The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) and the Annual Academic Conference of The Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN), from 25-28 March and 29-30 March 2019 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Colombo.

The INQAAHE is a world-wide association of approximately  300 organizations active in the  area of quality assurance in higher education, while  the APQN is a non-governmental and non-profit network with 208 members from 40 countries and territories aiming to enhance the quality of higher education in the Asia-Pacific Region.

The Aforementioned conferences will provide platforms for all engaged in the sphere of higher education in the exchange of knowledge and skills for the enhancement of the quality of higher education in order to provide a total educational experience which to academia and students.
