The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Jakarta organized Deepavali Celebration on 15 November 2019. The event was well attended by members of the Sri Lankan community in Jakarta.
The celebration included Hindu religious observances, lighting of traditional clay lamps and sparklers. There was also dance performances by children from Sindhunatyam School of Arts
Sri Lanka traditional cuisine was served during the event .
