In collaboration with the Export Development Board, the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Jakarta organized a virtual meeting on 03rd April 2023 to connect M+ Software of Indonesia to Sri Lankan ICT industry associations. The purpose of the meeting is to explore potential collaboration in the ICT industry.

At the virtual meeting, H.E. Admiral Professor Jayanath Colombage, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Indonesia emphasized the importance of collaborating with both countries in the ICT sector and personal experience of ICT innovations by Indonesians. Ms.Vajira Kularathna, Assistant Director-Export Services from Export Development Board presented an overview of the Sri Lankan ICT sector.

Followed by introductory speeches representing M+ Software of Indonesia, SLASSCOM, and FITIS, participants discussed potential collaboration areas. Mr.Ashique Ali, Chairman of SLASSCOM highlighted the importance of collaborating both countries in the gaming and mobile app industry. Mr.Fairooz Habeeb, Chief Operating Officer of FITIS informed that the Sri Lankan ICT industry is interested in entering the Indonesian market. During the discussion, Ms.Anggun and Ms.Hera from the Sales and Business Development division of M+ Software of Indonesia agreed to submit a proposal indicating interest areas to collaborate.

Participation in the meeting included Ms.Indumini Kodikara, Director-Export Services, Mr.Dinesh Attanayake, Export Promotion Officer from the Export Development Board, and Mrs. Heshani Premathilaka, Second Secretary (Commercial) from the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Jakarta.
