The event was attended by the large number of representatives from several Buddhist Associasions in Indonesia as well as the members of the Association of Sri Lankans Living in Indonesia (ASLI).
The Embassy was decorated with Lanterns and a depict of moment Arahat Mahinda arrived in Minintale to Introduce Buddhism.
Venerable Watagoda Maggavihari Thero delivered Dhamma Sermon. H.E tha Ambassador of Sri Lanka in Jakarta H.E. Admiral Prof. Jayanath Colombage warmly Welcomed and thanked everyone for attending the event and highlighted the value of the teaching of Lord Buddha and its relevance for the world peace and harmony today.
A Dansala was arranged by the ASLI with delicious Sri Lankan Food.
