H.E the Ambassador Admiral Prof. Jayanath Colombage highlighted the importance of maintaining religious harmony prevailing in the country in his welcome speech to the audience comprised of a large number of Sri Lankans with all religious faiths including the Members of the Association of Sri Lankans Living in Indonesia (ASLI).

This year’s celebrations would go down in the history of the Embassy with the gracious presence of Papal Nuncio His Eminence Cardinal Pioppo. The father of Santo Ignatius Loyola Church conducted the religious observances with a sermon followed by prayers.

The Christmas carols with melodious tunes of Christmas Hymns were performed by the 14 member talented choir of the Santo Loyola Church. The Santa Claus who made a surprise visit and distributed gifts to all children added the value and show the true
spirit of Christmas.

A delicious dinner was arranged with Christmas cake by the Association of Sri Lankans
Living in Indonesia (ASLI).
