Visit of President Ranil Wickremesinghe to attend the 10th World Water Forum held in Bali, Indonesia in May 2024
On 20 May 2024, President Wickremesinghe attended the High-Level Conference of the 10th World Water Forum held at the Bali International Convention Center. On the sidelines of the forum, President Wickremesinghe and President Widodo held a bilateral meeting and discussed matters of mutual interest to both countries and their peoples.

President Joko Widodo’s visit to Sri Lanka is a very historic one, this is the first visit of Indonesia to Sri Lanka after 39 years. The Forum was held in the wake of global economic challenges, geopolitical uncertainties, financial market turbulences and effects of climate change.
